Day 21: Courage Commanded: Joshua’s Last Words
Welcome: As we reach the end of our study, we have seen the courage of Moses and Joshua displayed as they exercised their faith in Almighty God. Today is all about God’s call to you to take courage in your life.
Background: The Lord granted success after success to Israel over their enemies. Joshua led the people and faithfully followed the Lord. Now it’s time for him to give them one last message.

Highlight: “Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness…as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
You? When it all comes down to it and you are forced to make a choice, who will you serve in 2021? Yourself? Money? Fear? Lust? Approval? Will you go back to the old gods you used to serve or will you be strong and courageous and serve the Lord from now on and forevermore?
Pray: God, I long to serve you with all my heart all the days of my life. I choose to follow you and to put away all that leads me away from you. Help me to practice the process of dying to myself and living courageously in service to you.
