I’m excited to share with you about an event coming on September 30. This event stems from Acts 2:1 which says that the believers “were all together in one place.” This was obedience to the instruction of the Lord found in Acts 1:4:
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.”
This means more than geography. They were together in heart and unity…and God did something incredible in their midst. I am passionate about seeing God do the same thing at Emmanuel.
On September 30th (9/30) we are all going to come together at one time (9:30am) in one place.
There will be no life-groups meeting that day, the service will be from 9:30-11:00. The will be programs for children birth through 5th grade. Everyone else will be in the auditorium for this one-time special service.
That event in Acts 2 was preceded by 10 days of prayer. So join us in prayer that God will do something great that day when we are All Together in 1 Place. #ATi1P
