Question: Do we see people like Jesus does?
Scripture:
Matthew 9:35-38, “And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When He saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labors are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labors into His harvest.””
Challenge: Consider where God may have you serve. Look around and be open to opportunities to serve within the church – nursery or childcare, volunteer to be a greeter, serve coffee, help with First Impressions, etc.
Prayer: Lord, where would You have me serve in my local church? Please show me where I can show love to others in my church.
