Question: Is it possible to get close to the Master’s heart without getting close to the Master’s mission?

Scripture:

Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the captives and recovery of sight for the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s
favor.”

I Timothy 1:15, “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.”

John 3:17, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”

Matthew 20:28, “Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

I John 3:5, “You know that He appeared in order to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin.”

Mark 2:17, “And when Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.””

Challenge: Open your heart and mind to the Master’s mission!
